Below is a picture of Sara & her boyfriend Jared (also an adorable picture!)

One of the interesting side effects I've noticed about being married is feeling older-sister-y toward three additional people who I've only known for 4 years, and who are grown adults! It's like it just automatically happened, which seems so odd when previously the requirement for being an older sister was actual shared blood and performing the role for the younger siblings' life span to date. And actually, when I describe it like that, maybe it's been presumptious of me to add three more notches to my older sister belt. I can't help it though - Bret's their older brother so my perspective is an extension of his.
The last afternoon we were up in Friday Harbor we sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the sun, breeze, and conversation. And then I got home and noticed I was sort of pink. And then a bit later I noticed I was really getting rather red. And then finally by bedtime, I was more of a blazing hot tamale color. And tonight I started peeling. Darn that breeze for being a distraction while the sun did its dirty work!

Your in-laws are cute. I love the pictures.
And - I always sunburn worse and faster when I am prego. Beware!
I want to see you pregnant. How fun.
Perhaps Cheryl should assuage her reader's certain curiosity as to why she refers to her dear Mother as "Myrtle"? Perhaps it is because she is embarrassed? Well, let "Myrtle" herself reveal the truth: one of Myrtle's cute nicknames for Cheryl when she was little was "Chertyl Turtle", but as Cheryl grew up it more often got shortened to "Chertyl". As Chertyl is just too clever herself, one day she decided the moniker "Mom" wasn't good enough (either that or she was wreaking revenge).
Perhaps Myrtle's cutesy name for her new grandson will be Turtle Totten...TT for short.
Too cute not to post for sure : )
My question is... where are the belly shots ? Hummmm, I believe I'm not the only one who wants to see them ; )
Tee hee. . . and it looks like your Mom has accepted "Myrtle" as a title. . . it's a go! Lucy calls my mom and dad, "Mama Leen and Papa Bob." I think they'd melt at whatever she'd call them, though, short of "Hey, You!"
